La Redoute SS14 Press Day – Paris

I was asked back to present for La Redoute at their SS14 press day in Paris this week and there were so many lovely pieces I just had to share my pics with you! Not wanting to sound a bit biased, but they really do know how to nail the trends in ways that are stylish, chic and affordable! The big trends I reported on included:

The carnival trend. Think bright colours & amazonian prints. My favorite piece being the standout green shift dress.

French inspired stripes are a classic for La Redoute which we will also see a lot more of in the shops next season. La Redoute’s Mademoiselle R brand had a variety of pieces including a classic breton top and summer dresses.

African/tribal pieces were spotted in La Redoute’s Soft Grey collection with a slight nod to the 70’s as well – another trend I mentioned in my previous blogs that we will see more of.

I was loving their swimwear range as its always so hard to find a good piece of swimwear these days!  The red, grey & white swimsuit caught my eye as it  was so chic & ticked that sports luxe look as well.

The 4x guest designers were:
Cédric Charlier (one of the most covetable designers right now) who had a stunning sports luxe collection.  I literally fell in love with his boxy, colour block dresses!

Gat Rimon was back again for another season & I spotted a bomber jacket that I can see being very popular next season.

Paul & Joe Sister had a cute feline theme for their youthful, vintage inspired collection.

My favorite  guest designer though was wedding dress designer Delphine Manivet who’s showstopping red carpet worthy dresses blew me away! These should definitely be on your wish list next season!

All in all,  another high quality collection from La Redoute that’s not only wearable and on trend for next season, but is also versatile & flattering for all body shapes too .. French style made easy -love it!

  1. Excellent assortment of great looks! Thanks for the share…

  2. How wonderful! And in Paris too..sigh! x

    1. Unfortunately I didn’t see much of Paris as it was quite a quick shoot, but its always fun to visit the capital especially when clothes are concerned!
